 <title>The &#039;Beatmongers present &#039; Radio show</title>

 <description>&lt;p&gt;The Beat mongers presented a radio aptly named &#039;Beatmongers present &#039; on EC1 FM. They show sought to highlight underground musical talent from their local area of central &amp;amp; north London (EC1= postcode East central 1) and also to highlight the sort the underground music which interested &amp;amp; influenced them.&lt;br /&gt;
While playing the best in new grime, hip hop, garage, house &amp;amp; drum&amp;amp;bass (which included some of their own tracks) the show also included interviews &amp;amp; live performances from rappers of the 701 squad: MC Unkle Bully aka MC strider &amp;amp; Tom Don, and also featured Turkish rappers from the UKTHM: AK09, Sayfa, Kiyamet, Alamet.&lt;/p&gt;

 <title>Beat Mongers set at signs of life, Brixton</title>

 <description>&lt;p&gt;The Beat Mongers performed a &#039;smackin it&#039; set at their recent &#039;signs of life&#039; gig in Brixton (south London). Armed with a 10 strong crew of producers and MC&#039;s including the 701 squad and UKTHM (UK Turkish hip hop movement), the collective shook the crowed with their mix of hip hop, phat electro beats and grimy cuts while live PA&#039;s and freestyles were performed by the collectives MC&#039;s. The even managed to pull in some attention from the Turkish press&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Look out for a Podcast/ recording of the night which will soon be available, also check out the gallery for some pics from the night.&lt;br /&gt;
